Should I get tested if I do not have symptoms of COVID-19?
You could have COVID-19 and not even know it.
Protect yourself, your loved ones, and your community by getting tested for COVID-19.
COVID-19 testing is now available to everyone in New Jersey.
It's especially important to get tested if:
- You have been in close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19 and are not fully vaccinated or recently recovered.
- You were recently in a large gathering where social distancing was hard to maintain or a crowded indoor setting and are not fully vaccinated or recently recovered.
- You must travel and are not fully vaccinated, get a viral test 1-3 days before travel and 3-5 days after travel.
Note: Fully vaccinated people and people who have recovered from COVID-19 in the past 3 months do not need to be tested after being exposed to someone with COVID-19. In addition, fully vaccinated individuals and those who recently recovered do not need to be tested before or after domestic travel to New Jersey.
