You may have heard of federal housing choice vouchers, or Section 8. You may have also heard that Section 8 is impossible with wait times and you'll never get housing that way, so it isn't worth your time.

It's true that there are a lot of people who need housing and it can take a long time for someone with a Section 8 voucher to find housing. That being said, it is useful to go through the process of qualifying, so that this door is open to you.
