Can real estate agents continue to show properties in person? Can my landlord show my apartment to potential renters?

Note: If there is no unexpected surge in COVID-19 numbers, on Wednesday, May 19, the outdoor gathering limit will be removed. There will be no limit for outdoor gatherings, however, attendees are still required to remain six feet apart from other groups. In addition, the general indoor gathering limit will be increased to 50 people.

Open Houses

Open houses to view real estate are permitted, provided they comply with the restrictions on indoor gatherings.

General indoor gatherings must be limited to 25 people. All attendees at indoor gatherings must wear face coverings and stay six feet apart.

Showing Apartments While Occupied

Renters whose lease may be expiring should discuss with their landlords or realtors the best way to maintain proper social distancing practices when showing an apartment.
