What is the State doing to prevent water, gas, or electricity shutoffs?

Governor Murphy has announced that all municipal and private-sector water utilities in New Jersey have voluntarily agreed to suspend shut-offs during this COVID19 emergency. No New Jerseyan should fear losing their access to clean water.

The New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (NJBPU) has also announced that the state's public electric and gas utilities have universally agreed to suspend service shutoffs statewide in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
