Is New Jersey able to commandeer medical supplies and equipment related to the State’s COVID-19 response?
Yes, Governor Murphy signed Executive Order No. 113 which formally authorizes Colonel Patrick J. Callahan, New Jersey State Police Superintendent, to commandeer medical supplies and equipment necessary to the State's COVID-19 response. Medical supplies include, but are not limited to, N95 masks, other personal protective equipment, and ventilators.
