Yes. The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has developed a test that can diagnose the COVID-19 virus in the laboratory. As of the evening of April 15, the total number of public health laboratories (PHL) that have completed verification and are offering testing is 96. This includes one or more PHL in 50 states plus DC, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

In addition, a number of hospital and commercial labs have developed their own tests.
